Concert Information & Schedule
Summer Concert Series
Spend your summer enjoying music from different local bands. From rock to country to R&B and oldies, there is a concert for everyone. Lounge in a lawn chair or get on your feet and dance. Concessions will be available for all concerts.
Concerts are FREE, but a valid Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter the park. If event is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted on social media and the website. Concerts will not be rescheduled.

June 23-July 28: Symphony by the Shores - Lake St. Clair
This summer, Tuesdays are made for Lake St. Clair Metropark views, music, and relaxation. Unwind along the shores of Lake St. Clair as you enjoy the sounds of the Macomb Symphony Ensembles. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs—and even a picnic—to settle in and savor an evening of beautiful symphonic music by the water. Concessions will be open during the concerts.

July 12 - Symphony by the Shores - Kensington
Experience a symphony for the senses at the Michigan Philharmonic’s spectacular outdoor concert! Enjoy the beautiful sounds of talented musicians while surrounded by the park’s natural scenic views. With views of Kent Lake, a beach to play or swim and playground to get the energy out, the whole family will enjoy the evening.
Food vendors will be on-site starting at 5 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Turntables & Tunes - Hudson Mills
Turn up the volume and get ready to move at Hudson Mills Metropark! This high-energy afternoon is all about music, dancing, and an unforgettable mini club experience designed especially for kids ages 9 and up.
Feel the beat as TecTroit DJs brings the party by spinning the tunes to get the crowd going. The excitement continues with a live performance by the Vintage Future Band, delivering upbeat music that keeps the party atmosphere.
Kids can step into their own mini club experience, complete with lights, music, and hands-on opportunities to check out real DJ equipment, explore the turntables, and see how DJs mix and create music, making this a fun and interactive behind-the-scenes look at the world of DJing.
Mixed in with the DJ sets and live music, there will be opportunities for kids to race through an inflatable obstacle course and other bounce houses, play yard games, have their face painted and cool off with ice cream or Kona Ice.
Bring your friends, bring your best dance moves, and get ready for an afternoon filled with music, energy, and a one-of-a-kind outdoor dance party.
