PARK AMENITIES Hudson Mills Metropark is located on North Territorial Road at the crossing of the Huron River, twelve miles northwest of Ann Arbor. This 1,549-acre park has an 18-hole golf course, disc golf courses, picnic areas, swings and slides, softball diamonds, a hike-bike trail, nature trails, river fishing, a canoe camp and a group camp. The park is a popular destination for canoeing and kayaking; parking areas near the Huron River give easy access for canoe launching. Canoe rental available at Delhi Metropark.

ACTIVITY CENTER
Stop by the Activity Center to see the nature exhibits, rent equipment or have a bite to eat. Food service is provided on weekends - Memorial Day to Labor Day and when the Cross-Country Ski Rental is open. The disc golf courses, a tot lot and a baseball diamond are located near the Activity Center. Bicycles, tennis rackets, volleyballs and basketballs are rented spring to fall.


BIKING
A 3.5-mile paved hike-bike trail offers beautiful views of a lagoon and the Huron River. Flat terrain

BIRDING
The nature interpreter maintains a park bird species list. Migrating warblers can be spotted, and pileated woodpeckers have been seen in the park. Birding programs are held throughout the year. Volunteers help maintain bluebird nest boxes throughout the park.


CAMPING
Overnight and day camping is available year round for organized youth groups. Full details for camping available at Park Office. Camping permit required.

COURT GAMES
Tennis, basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard courts are located near the Activity Center, with equipment rentals available spring to fall.


CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
More than four miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, varied terrain. The Ski Touring Center (Activity Center), open weekends only for ski rentals, features a heated lounge, food service and restrooms. Groups of 10 or more may make arrangements to rent skis during the week.

DISC GOLF
These two 24-hole disc golf courses are rated as two of the top courses in Michigan. Disc rentals available at the Activity Center year round.

The Annual Bag Tag can be used on the disc golf courses at Kensington and Stony Creek Metroparks.



GOLF
Entrance to this par-71, 6,634-yard, 18-hole course is located on Dexter-Pinckney Road, 2-1/2 miles south of N. Territorial Road. Beer and wine sold at the starter building; no coolers allowed.

FISHING
Try shoreline or fly-fishing along the Huron River throughout the park.


HIKING
The two-mile Acorn Nature Trail takes hikers through abandoned fields and woodlands and offers great views of the Huron River. Interpretive labels highlight natural points of interest. The trail starts at the Activity Center. Flat terrain.

INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS
Nature programs are held throughout the year at the Activity Center. Programs for groups may be made by appointment.


PICNICKING
Picnic areas are located throughout the park, and picnic shelters can be reserved. Groups of 50 or more who don't wish to reserve a site should register their group at the Park Office to determine availability of areas on the desired date.
