THEY’RE YOUR METROPARKS.
BRING YOUR WHOLE PACK.

METROBARKS

The Metroparks aren’t just for you, they are also for your favorite furry four-legged friend. This year your Metroparks are hosting new pet-friendly events and more pet-friendly events to enjoy with your dog. Join us this summer for pet photos, dog adoptions, trail walks, and more. To explore pet-friendly programs, click on the park name tab above.

But remember, dogs are welcome in the Metroparks, but must be kept on a 6-foot leash. Be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. Dogs are not allowed on nature trails, beaches or inside buildings. It is recommended that your dog(s) are up to date on vaccinations. If your dog is having a bad day or displaying aggressive behaviors, you may be asked to leave the program early.
