Concert Information & Schedule

Summer Concert Series

Spend your summer enjoying music from different local bands. From rock to country to R&B and oldies, there is a concert for everyone. Lounge in a lawn chair or get on your feet and dance. Concessions will be available for all concerts. 

Concerts are FREE, but a valid Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter the park. If event is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted on social media and the website. Concerts will not be rescheduled.

Get ready to rock out with family and friends at Food & Tunes this summer! Feel the rhythm and groove as you dance right in front of the stage, or simply relax on a cozy blanket or lawn chair on the hill while enjoying the show. Don’t worry about food and drinks, a variety of delicious options will be available from our food trucks and vendors. Also added for this year will be beer tent.

This event will be held entirely outdoors and is weather dependent. If canceled, it will be posted on the website and social media.

Music & Moves for Kids - Hudson Mills

Saturday, August 3
3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Activity Center Area

Get ready to groove and move at Hudson Mills Metropark!  Join us for an afternoon packed with music, dancing, and non-stop fun!  We’ve got it all!

– Inflatable fun: Let the kids challenge themselves on our awesome inflatable obstacle course!
– Games Galore: Enjoy a variety of fun games for all ages, including classic yard games.
– Creative Corner: Get your face painted with dazzling designs or have a hilarious caricature drawn!
– Amazing Entertainment: Prepare to be amazed by three fantastic performances: a juggler, a fire dancer, and a magician! Topped off by a music performance, so you can sign, laugh, and dance!

It’s a jam-packed afternoon of activities, music, and memory-making moments you won’t want to miss!

Pre-registration is not required.

Blue Moon at the Beach Concert - Kensington

Saturday, August 17
8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Maple Beach

Don’t miss this once-in-a-blue-moon event! Travel back in time to the 1970s with The Geff Phillips Band performing The Best of Billy Joel & Elton John. Dress in your 70s best and get ready for a night of live music under the stars. The band takes the stage at 8 p.m., so bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab a glow stick, and get ready to dance. At 9 p.m., show off your groovy style in our “Best Dressed” contest for bragging rights and prizes!

Throughout the concert, enjoy Blue Moon viewing stations, activities, and presentations by Metroparks staff and partners. Bring your telescope or binoculars to experience the moon at its biggest and brightest. The night culminates in a spectacular 15-minute live drone show at 10:15 p.m.

There will be food trucks and drink vendors available throughout the event.

Pre-registration is not required.

Ages: Fun for all ages!
Time: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. Concert starts at 8 p.m. followed by the DRONE SHOW at 10:15 p.m.
Cost: The concert and activities are free, but food and drinks are a separate cost. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark.
