Evening Lantern Tours

Join our lantern-bearing guides as they lead you through the dark, pumpkin-lit woods to encounter various characters and uncanny situations. This tour showcases Michigan’s legends and local history. This is not a haunted attraction.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 90-minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. We will conclude at the Oakwoods Nature Center. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, and mostly flat and level. Some sections of the trail will have low visibility due to nighttime conditions.

Ages: 8 and up.
Time: 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $12 per child, $12 per adult.
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center
