Maple’s Sweet Story

REGISTER HERE

Take a guided walk through the farm’s Sugar Bush. Learn how to pick the right maple tree, then watch how maple trees are tapped and sap is collected. Stop by the Native American camp to hear and see how these techniques have changed through the years. Then visit the Sugar Shack to see and smell the sap being boiled down into maple sugar. Real maple sugar products will be available for purchase at the Farm Center Office. Tours begin every half hour, last approximately one hour and require registration.

Be sure to add on some pancakes to go! This ready-to-eat meal comes with flatware and napkins so you can enjoy a winter picnic in the park or inside the Farm Grille by the fireplace. Pancake meals are not included in your Maple’s Sweet Story program registration, but can be added on to your registration through pre-order only, between 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Look for the add in button once you add your program registration to your cart. Once you add Pancakes to go to your cart, you will be prompted to choose from the list of dates and times you want to pick up your Pancakes to Go – make sure to pick the date and time that corresponds appropriately with your program registration! Either at least a half hour before your maple sugaring program begins or after your program ends is recommended.
