Mother’s Day Wildflower Walk

Enjoy an outing with your family at a special Kensington Mother’s Day weekend walk. We’ll take an hour-long guided stroll through the Kensington Nature Area while discovering the budding spring wildflowers, the chattering birds, and the other changes of the season. Share the beauty and the stories behind spring’s new life with the people dear to you!
What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. Time will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk about mile. Our walk will be a round trip. The planned path is dirt and gravel, mostly flat and level, is frequently rolling or slightly hilly and includes some bridges and boardwalks. No prior experience is necessary. In-program group discussion will be encouraged.

Ages: Fun for all ages! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult, children under 2 Free!
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
