Wildflowers of Oakwoods

We will discuss different wildflowers that are blooming right now. Go over different native and non-native plants and whether they are useful or harmful to the local fauna and environment. And then we will make art with them! This will be a fun learning activity and hike.

What to Expect:
This program will start indoors, and end outdoors. The time, approximately 30 indoors; and the remaining 60 minutes outdoors on a leisurely hike. We will conclude at the Oakwoods Nature Center. Please dress accordingly for the weather. The path outdoor will be gravel or grass, and mostly flat ground.

Ages: 8 and up.
Time: 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $8 per child, $8 per adult
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
